Hello and happy Friday the 13th!
Now then, I’m on holiday, in Spain! So this will be a short and sweet newsletter. Also a bit later than usual, because I slept in - shame on me! Apologies in advance for any albums I’ve missed but I’ve got to get back to the beach, innit!
I’m looking forward to check out the Slick Rick (might be terrible) and The Bug Club albums though.
Last week I’ve mainly hung out on the beach, reading books, then going for nice dinners in the evening.
I’ve watched all of “Get Millie Black” which was pretty good!
I’ve also read two Terry Pratchett novels on the beach, which was been quite fun. I used to read him as a teenager, but haven’t really read any for 30+ years. His books were some of the first I read in English, so they were quite important for me in my early years. In Spain I’ve read “Unseen Academicals” (fun and silly, and a bit long) and “Thud!” (also silly, because Pratchett, but more serious and … better!).
Have started reading John Steinbeck’s “The Winter of our discontent” now, which is a bit of a different … vibe! Might switch to a third Pratchett novel today.

I don’t usually listen to that much music on holiday, feel like I need a holiday from it eh! Been listening to Beach Boys while showering and tried to listen to Comet Gain’s album from last week but fell asleep after a few songs (not because the album was boring, I was just lying on a sun lounger and tired, as always).
I hope summer will start soon in the UK after I get back to the so I can listen to these 10 summer songs and feel their spirit.
