Hello and happy Friday and Happy Easter!
It’s Friday, I’m off. Stayed up until 1am last night and got up late today, sending this out later than normal. Go me!
Not a big album release day today, but there are some interesting ones!
It’s been a wild work week with the boss in Los Angeles and my colleague on holiday, busier than ever! Feel like I haven’t done anything but working, lying in the sofa and sleeping. Also played a bit of "Far Cry 6”.
Last week I went to see “Drop” in the cinema and it was truly terrible. But I also went to see Lambrini Girls and they were absolutely incredible. Swings and roundabouts, eh!?
Also finished watching the Danish crime doc ““Black Swan” which was a … ride!
This weekend I’m going to see “Sinners” in the cinema, the new film by Ryan Coogler who’s the director of Fruitvale Station (fantastic), Creed (great) and the two Black Panther films (love them), so I have high hopes! Also want to eat some delicious food and chocolate. No real plans otherwise. Need to sleep. Going to a plant based sushi restaurant tonight which could be interesting.
Next week I hope to go and see Marlon Williams live, which should be great.
Juana Rozas
Second album from The Buenos Aires pop / electro singer. Sounds interesting! I’m very slowly getting into South American pop, I think / hope.

Beirut
The seventh album from Zach Condon's Beirut project was created for the Swedish circus Kompani Giraff for its stage show inspired by Judith Schalansky's German novel "Verzeichnis einiger Verluste.". Classic stuff. I should love Beirut, being a big Neutral Milk Hotel fan, but it somehow never clicked for me.

The Clientele - Music for the age of miracle (2017)
I love this London pop band! They have melodies to kill for. This is their sixth album and one of their best, among a few. Some killer hooks on this!
Fun and messy!
Alkaline Trio, Role Model, Teen Mortgate!
On the rare occasion when I decide to do a jigsaw puzzle, I usually listen to plinkety plonkety Swedish instrumental music.
